BioHey everyone I'm Jen and I'm a 21 year old student at UT in Austin, Texas. Pretty normal chick who tends to get overly obsessed with things from time to time. Currently, my main obsession is Doctor Who and David Tennant. I resurrected my livejournal in order to join Doctor Communities and such. We'll see how long I last back on lj before I stop paying attention to it like before =)
I'm a bit of an internet nerd...I love facebook, youtube, and twitter especially. Other than that I just goof around finding random stuff to read and whatnot. Don't bother looking at my myspace though...I hardly ever use it anymore except to check out bands occasionally. I vlog from time to time on youtube...check out the link above. Another thing I love doing is playing Pirates Online, so if you're on there, hit me up.
I'm a big fan of British comedies. Well....just British things in general really. I have a big passion for quite a few different countries and their cultures and hope someday I'm able to go visit all the places I've learned so much about. I've been to Ireland once, which was great...but there's so much else out there I wanna see.
I'm really into American Sign Language and Deaf Culture. It's my minor in school and a huge passion of mine. I like to combine it with another love of mine, music, and make videos signing to music. Again, check out my youtube for that. I should be vlogging from a mission trip I'm taking in July from a Deaf village in Jamaica, so look out for that.
As far as TV/music goes....I'm mainly into comedy/spy/sci-fi TV shows and rock music. Favorite shows are Doctor Who (obviously), Torchwood, Alias, 24, Family Guy, CSI (Las Vegas & New York...NOT Miami), So You Think You Can Dance, Futurama, Robot Chicken, Home Improvement, Scrubs, Fresh Prince, and old school Nickelodeon shows. There are a lot of shows I enjoy, but I don't get to watch TV too often (no cable). As far as bands/artists go, I have very eclectic tastes. I typically go for rock, yeah, but I have everything from showtunes, to metal, to opera, to rap, to pop, to indie, and everything in between. If I had to choose some favorite bands though, they'd be Jimmy Eat World, Hoobastank, Incubus, The Eagles, Imogen Heap, Relient K, Hanson, Hellogoodbye, Michael Buble....and good grief, so many more.
